2016-2022 Chevy Camaro Fuse Box Diagram

There are two main fuse boxes accessible to the owner:
Engine Compartment Fuse Block: Located on the passenger side of the engine bay, under a black plastic cover.
Rear Compartment Fuse Block (Trunk): Located under the floor panel in the trunk. You need to lift the carpet/floor cover to access it. Note: There is also an Instrument Panel Fuse Block located on the end of the dashboard on the driver’s side (accessible when the door is open) or under the dashboard, but most user-serviceable fuses are in the Engine or Trunk blocks.

The fuse for the 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter) is typically located in the Rear Compartment Fuse Block (Trunk) or the Engine Compartment Fuse Block.
Look for a fuse labeled “APO1” or “Aux Power Outlet” (often 20A or 50A depending on the circuit).
Tip: If the fuse is good but the outlet still fails, check the wiring connector behind the console panel, as these can sometimes come loose.

If your screen is black or freezing, it is often a software glitch rather than a blown fuse. However, you can try resetting it by pulling the fuse:
Check the Instrument Panel Fuse Block (Driver’s side dash) for a fuse labeled “Display”, “Infotainment”, or circuit breaker “CB2”.
Alternative Fix: Disconnecting the negative battery terminal in the trunk for 10-15 minutes is a common “hard reset” for the infotainment system.

For Camaros equipped with the NPP (Dual-Mode) Exhaust, pulling Fuse #51 (located in the Engine Compartment Fuse Block) keeps the exhaust valves open permanently, making the car sound louder/more aggressive at all times, rather than just in “Track” or “Sport” mode.

his is a known common issue for 6th Gen Camaros. It is frequently caused by broken wires in the flexible harness that connects the trunk lid to the body, rather than a blown fuse.
Check: Inspect the wiring loom on the passenger side trunk hinge. The constant opening/closing can sever the wires inside the rubber boot.
Fuse: If wiring is intact, check the “Trunk” or “Body Control Module” fuses in the Rear Fuse Block.

While it can be a fuse (check “Starter” or “Ignition” fuses in the Engine Block), a clicking sound usually indicates a weak battery or a bad starter motor. The 2016+ Camaros are sensitive to battery voltage; if the battery is old, it may cause various electrical gremlins.

1. Open the trunk.
2. Lift the carpeted floor mat.
3. Remove the floor panel/cover (where the spare tire or inflator kit is stored).
4. The fuse box is usually located near the battery or on the right side of the well.
