2014-2018 Porsche Macan Fuse Box Diagram

The Macan (95B) has three main fuse panel areas:
Driver’s Side Dashboard: Located on the side of the dashboard, accessible when the driver’s door is open. Pop off the small plastic cover to see the fuses.
Passenger’s Side Dashboard: Located on the side of the dashboard, accessible when the passenger door is open.
Luggage Compartment (Trunk): Located on the right side of the rear luggage compartment, often behind a removable trim panel. This area contains fuses and relays for the rear components and large systems like the fuel pump and air suspension.

This is one of the most common blown fuses. The fuses for the 12V power sockets (front console, center console, etc.) are typically located in the Driver’s Side or Passenger’s Side Dashboard Fuse Boxes.
Fuse Type: Look for a 20A (Yellow) fuse, as this is the standard rating for accessory power circuits.
Tip: If one socket works and another doesn’t, they are on separate circuits, meaning you need to check multiple 20A fuses labeled “Socket,” “APO,” or “Cigar Lighter.”

PCM glitches (rebooting every few minutes, black screen) are a known issue on this generation, often related to software or heat. The simplest fix is usually a system reset, not a fuse pull.
Primary Fix (Hard Reset): Press and hold the INFO button (or the volume knob, depending on the software version) on the PCM for approximately 10 seconds until the screen reboots.
Secondary Fix (Fuse): If the reset fails, you can check the low-amperage fuses in the Passenger Side Dashboard fuse box labeled for the “Radio” or “Infotainment” system.

This fault is frequently caused by the air suspension compressor failing or running too long, which then triggers a high-amperage fuse to blow.
Fuse Location: Check the large Maxi-fuses (usually 40A or 60A) located in the Luggage Compartment (Trunk) Fuse Box.
Relay is Critical: The failure is often traced back to a failed relay that controls the compressor. If the fuse is blown, you must replace both the fuse and the relay to prevent immediate failure of a new compressor. The relay is typically located near the fuse box in the trunk or under the dashboard.

The fuel pump and its control unit (J538) are generally protected by a relay and high-amperage fuses located in the Luggage Compartment Fuse Box (Trunk) or the Engine Compartment Relay Carrier. This is a major component, and the fuse is usually 15A to 20A.
